On Saturday, April 22, 40,000 people congregated on Constitution Ave. in Washington. The March for Science had brought them together on a rainy day with the common goal of advocating for the adoption of scientific policies and an increase in research and design funding from the federal government. Despite the weather, participants were energized, brought many creative signs and wore intricate costumes to the display.
