Maryland Day is an annual tradition at the University of Maryland. It is a one-day open house in which there are six different “learning neighborhoods” around campus with informative and interactive activities for both children and adults. Prospective students were given the opportunity to learn about the university and the different majors and programs available to them. Other activities included arts and crafts, science experiment demonstrations and a chance to meet the university men and women’s basketball teams.
